Consistency Wins
Consistency wins. No matter what it is that you are pursuing, if you are diligent and persistent and do not quit you will make progress and eventually achieve your goals. Small actions stacked over a long period are the key. Do not get lured into thinking it only takes one big move or one big win that leads to success. Outliers happen of course, but it's choices, decisions and habits that make the biggest difference. Time is an X factor to success. This is because it takes days/weeks/months/years of conscious movement and right action to create success. It does not happen any other way no matter what. Anyone telling you different IS trying to sell you something.
Consistency has it's inverse as well. The wrong things done over long periods of time have huge negative impacts. Obesity doesn't happen overnight, nor does the perfect 6-pack abs. Habits are at the center of consistency. It is possible to retrain your brain to form new habits. Yes, it is difficult. It seems impossible at times, but rest assured many people have reimagined their lives and through hard work, perseverance and consistency. The right choices have the power to change lives, but the choice to be consistent is yours and yours alone.
I recommend sticking to a strict regimen for those things you want to accomplish. Don't be lackadaisical about your goals or your regimen. Make a list. Use a calendar. Find an accountability buddy. Trick yourself. Use productivity apps. Do whatever it takes to ensure you CONSISTENTLY show up. You deserve all the great things that will come out of your hard work and consistency.
