They say, “readers are leaders”… this is because they apply what they learn (read).”
Reading books, taking courses, attending seminars, buying programs and so forth are all great and yes you should constantly invest in yourself, however… if you are not actively applying what you learn, what’s the point?
Chances are you can write a book (if not volumes) of what you need to do to get to where you’re going. And although the spirit is willing, the flesh is weak when it comes to application.
I like to highlight every book I read looking for specific items that I can then apply instantly in my life or business. Then I like to revisit books on the shelf often looking for inspiration from those highlighted pages which also serves as a swift kick in the rear to stay the course.
Some people put tremendous value in how much they read, I would argue that the value is in how much they can apply.
Time to break out those highlighters…

Knowledge x Application
I couldn't agree more with this statement, "if you are not actively applying what you learn, what’s the point?" Great article my man! Knowledge is like a Big BATTERY. It only takes you places when you plug it into your vehicle and start driving!
