Parkinson's Law
Parkinson's law states that "work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion". For example, if you give yourself a week to write a marketing plan, it will take a week. If you give yourself a day to write that same, it will take a day.
As we embark upon a new year full of new goals and projects, I would like to challenge you to apply Parkinson's Law to your timelines. Try cutting your timelines in half or even a quarter.
If you can master condensing the time it takes to complete your work/projects, you can therefore accomplish more. The key is to maintain the quality of your work while condensing your timelines.
