Path of Least Resistance
Einstein once said, “make everything as simple as possible, but not simpler”.
Occam’s razor states, "entities should not be multiplied beyond necessity"
In nature, the path of least resistance reveals itself practically, for example the way water moves down a mountain.
When looking across your organization, you must always ask - is there a more efficient way to get to the same result? Sometimes the answer is no, for example can you ever go too far with customer service? Most often however the answer is yes.
Today’s challenge: identify one inefficiency within your company and make a resolution to improve that process within the next 5 days.
