To-Do-Less
We all have to-do-lists whether we write it down or keep mental notes. Then we begin the process of shuffling, reprioritizing, adding and hopefully subtracting from the list.
If you took an 80/20 approach to your list you’d quickly find that the top 20% of items are where you maximize your efforts and utilize your core skills, while the bottom 80% is often made up of busy work that doesn’t require your (high paid) expertise.
Imagine you only lived in the 20%. It is even possible?
With AI and automation tools coming at lighting speed, it’s more important than ever to know your 20% as it represents the core value you bring to the marketplace; which could not be easily handed to the robots.
So instead of building the next to-do-list, try “to-do-less”. Make your list shorter and more impactful and find every opportunity to offload the lower level work that extracts from your shine.
