A Broken Record
I’m not sure what “important” message you need reinforced. But if it’s truly important, it needs to be repeated.
I repeat, if it’s truly important it needs to be repeated (see how I just did that?).
Telling someone “something” once and expecting them to get it is one thing. Being disappointed when they don’t - and hoping they’ll eventually come around - is a losing formula.
Be a broken record about the things that matter most to the business… it’s OK.
“But Tim, I shouldn’t have to tell them more than once.”
Great. Be a broken record about that (see how I did that again?).
The real question is: if you asked anyone on your team what you repeat constantly, would they say it’s something core to the ethos of the business?
We’re all broken records about something - but is it the right thing?
Run a test on it this week - and email me what you find out… I’d love to hear it.
Poll Results: The results are in from last week’s survey:
82% of voters said - they are actively modernizing their business.
