Dreams Realized
When individuals achieve their dreams, families, communities and economies benefit. The bigger the realized dream the more beneficiaries. Walmart was Sam Walton’s dream, which now employs over 2M people across 24 countries, generating over $5.5B in revenue.
What is most important is not the size of your dream, but rather the fact that you are pursuing your dream. Even if you are not the primary beneficiary of your dream, it's still worth pursuing (i.e. all those that have fought and died for our freedom to dream).
I believe we have an obligation to support those of us brave enough to dream, because they will be the ones creating tomorrow’s opportunities.
So let’s encourage our dreamers, pick them up when they fall down, and show them our gratitude for lighting the way.
