I'll Do It
To advance in business/life you need to raise your hand and say “I’ll do it”.
I’ll lead the team, I’ll start that business and fill the gap, I’ll put my money where my mouth is, I’ll take a risk on that individual, I’ll make that call…
The inverse of course is saying, I’ll wait til someone else does “it” (take charge, take the risk, put themselves out there for scrutiny, right the wrong).
Nothing ventured, nothing gained. In the end it’s not about what we gain (though it is nice when we do), rather it’s who we become in the process that is of the highest value.
Surprisingly/not surprisingly the most successful people I know are also the ones who have attempted and failed the most… but their warrior spirit kept them moving forward and ultimately to a successful destination. Guess what - they’re still taking risks!
So the next time life presents an opportunity to step into greatness - raise your hand and say “I’ll do it”.

Poll Results: The results are in from last week’s survey:
50% of voters said they would prefer to do business with someone they’ve met in person.
Interestingly enough 36% said they didn’t care, which means if you met these folks chances are it could push them over the edge to do business with you.
