Samara Joy > AI
Last night I had the pleasure of watching Samara Joy perform at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. The house was packed. Captivated. Emotional.
Her song choices, arrangements, improvisation, and connection with the audience was inspirational. Exceptional.
And then it hit me, again: in an AI-driven world, only the exceptional will thrive.
Being okay or decent has never been enough. But now, it’s career-ending. Let’s be honest, being so-so is so 2020.
Every one of us needs to look in the mirror and ask: Will my job still exist in its current form five years from now?
And more importantly: What am I doing about it?
[Prompt: Hey TIMgpt, will my (insert job title) exist in 5 years?]
Will we still need coffee baristas?
Attorneys? Consultants? Copywriters?
Video editors? Financial advisors? Media buyers?
I don’t know for sure.
But I know this - I’ll still need Samara Joy.
Poll Results: The results are in from last week’s survey:
58% of voters said they know what their business is worth.
Song of the week…
