Throw Me A Rope
Einstein once said, “You can’t solve a problem from the same mind that created it.” I interpret this as: I can’t get out of the hole I dug myself into… unless someone from above throws me a rope.
We tend to overemphasize and value entrepreneurs who seem to do it all by themselves. However, most successful business owners will admit having access to wise counsel, advisors, experts, peer-groups, consultants, coaches, and confidants throughout their journey.
This is pretty basic stuff, yet often overlooked.
Imagine that a qualified third-party perspective is the key to unlocking a new level of success. The catch is that someone else holds this key. Unless you're willing and open to receive the right information, you'll repel rather than attract these key holders.
Naturally you can keep making progress through your own efforts, but what if a trusted advisor could help you take bigger steps? Would it be worth the effort?
“When the student is ready the teacher will appear. When the student is truly ready... The teacher will Disappear.”
―Tao Te Ching
